If you are interested in being tutored by an honors Harvard graduate, I am your man. I just received my summa cum laude Bachelor of Arts in Classical Studies from Harvard, where I was also Phi Beta Kappa. I am continuing my studies at Oxford where I anticipate working toward a master's degree in Greek and Latin. I have tutored other students in a variety of subjects since my high school days in Cross River, New York. I concentrate my teaching in Latin and English literature and can improve every student's skills in language arts, writing, and literary analysis. I am also available and capable to work with those few scholars who still study Ancient Greek. I can work with students to improve their SAT test scores and to hone their writing and critical reading SAT scores. I understand that when students experience anxiety during standardized tests, they need to shift their focus to achieving the greatest returns from those tests. I want my students to enjoy the process of learning and to stay engaged in their own educations. Once students move away from the stress of learning and begin to understand the pure joy of education, they will blossom and become true students of education. I am also an avid blues music fan. I have taught the history of blues music to my peers, and I managed the blues department at my University's radio station. Right now, I live outside of New York City, in South Salem, where I continue to enjoy playing my guitar and learning more about the history of American music.
